- Treyarch's James Bond game is not based on the upcoming Bond film Quantum of Solace but instead is an original Bond story.
- Eight Days is still in development and will be at E3 this year.
- Sony has pushed development of The Getaway 3 to the side given the release of this small indie game called GTAIV and Sony wanting to push Infamous as their big sandbox game of 2008.

Hi,
Great blog. I'd love to hear your insight on the rest of the year for Wii. Of course there's Super Smash Bros in March and Wii Fit sometime between April and June, but then what? It's hard to imagine that Nintendo would release Mario Kart Wii anytime soon considering how they love to spread first-party titles. When do we see that? Do Animal Crossing Wii and Kirby Wii hit stateside this year? Or is there something Nintendo hasn't announced? How about a HDD? Is that a pipe dream or do you see it happening? I mean, even a 5GB drive, modeled like the Wii with a matching stand could go for > $50. What are your thoughts?
To be honest not alot of my people are connected to Wii titles and I myself am not a massive Nintendo fan so I don't have the insight into Nintendo like SG claims. However just going on educated guesses I think we can expect the somewhat typical plan from Nintendo in terms of their games. I do think that we could perhaps see Mario Kart Wii out this year as that would be their big holiday title. As far as a HDD goes I don't see that happening unless a dev makes a game that would warrant such a thing or if Nintendo decides to release one as a way to encourage more people to download stuff from the VC. The one Wii game I am interested in is what Retro is working on.
